XS650 "Tina Marie"

Jared, get it running and safe for barber, Pretty can come after, but as long as you can ride it, that will be enough. Oh and I know about time crunch, my build was supposed to be ridable in May and finished in June. got the ridable part almost done in Sep. LOL.
 
I hear ya Mike, I'm not gonna shortcut ANYTHING that would compromise safety! Or anything else for that matter. It will get finished when it gets finished.
 
A little more progress today!!! On the front,got the CBR600 rotors put on, along with custom caliper mounts and the Nissan calipers.

And on the rear got the same CBR rotor. Was originally planning on making a new hanger for another Nissan caliper, but thanks to Kiley who dug out a CB900 mount and caliper from his parts stash, we mounted it up after a few modifications. And I have to say I think it looks pretty damn good. This thing should stop on a dime, or at least go to full lock up trying!

Yeah Rich I am stoked about the way they turned out. I still have to get some spacers for the front calipers and brake lines and put a little paint on them, but it was a good bit of progress yesterday.
 
Iim hooked I love xs's one of my very favorites, cant wait to see this done. You going to have it at barbers?

At this point I know it will not be 100% complete, but I should have it close enough to be able to ride it.
 
Big thanks to Kiley, he did pretty much all of the electrical and wiring the last couple days.

Absolutely! Paint is mixed and ready to spray, just trying to focus on getting it roadworthy before making it pretty.

Thanks, and yes, that color will accent all of the tins.
