YANX 600 Yamaha XJ(FJ) 600 Goes Cafe

Tnx Texas!
There is a lot of small and bigger things to do... but now it's pretty much: what you see is what you get :)

Tnx Jdizon
Well, a year ago I didn't know a sh** about welding, sheet metal fabrication or painting... or anything of what I'm doing today :)
Still not sure if I know what I'm doin.... but I don't give up without trying, sometimes a lot more than once and not afraid of failing

Man that's awesome!

Tnx a lot!
Right now in some "no energy mode" and much to much to do at work :)
But hope to find some time in garage soon.... feels like I'm not that far away to have it in one piece..

Found some time and energy yesterday evening ::)
Started out a new seat, lovely to do some sheet metal work again... it's been all about engines, cleaning, painting... for a while

But have started to build a frontfairing, should just have been a small one, but seems to get more and more lika a real oldschool race-fairing..

So I've been following your build silently and I could resist posting anymore. This bike is amazing.

Pat, fairing looks excellent!!! Keep it up. You need to get into aluminium sometime though ;)

Tnx!
I really appreciate your response and makes me try a little bit harder to make this first attempt to a nice build.

Yes, I really want to get into aluminium. But I need to have another tigwelder i think (AC)... AND starting with aluminium, I really want to be able to have it polished, NO bondo... and I think that is next step (or next next next :) ) in learning... today I can make it "pretty smooth" but counting on bondo, grinding and painting to get a good surface and finnish.
