You got a paint code for that- you think they make something close in powder coating?

NH-104M-U Pleiadis silver metallic

I ended up going to a PPG paint shop, as they were the only ones that could read the code.

I did get one of the VF frames powdercoated with what looked like on the sample a perfect match, but when it was done it was a little off. The powdercoaters over here tend not to move out of their comfort zone regarding colours ( I can't get a nice gold ANYWHERE here), but shoot Joe (JRK5892) an email, there seems to be nothing he can't do. Terrific work.

If I'd been a bit more organised, I would have put my DSS order in already and have the few parts I'm missing ready to go. Too bad, too sad.

Well it's all coming together pretty well. I've had a re-think on the tank colour and settled for a really cool red pearl.

Now I need some opinions on a stripe to go over the top. The plain tank looks a bit, well, plain. I've ordered a pair of the old style honda wings ( the ones with the gold HM logo), but I think the top needs stripes, so here's some variations. A and B are a slightly darker red, and more subtle, and C and D are a gold colour. Let me know which you prefer?

They all look good, but the one I'd choose is Option A. Do you think C & D would work better if you had gold rims?

Do I go with the red on the tank? Black to balance out the seat/sidecovers and keep the focus on the tank/pipes? Silver to ...?

So. After getting inspiration from Steve F's fantastic CX build, and pestering the poor lad for days, I finally gathered all the components for a keyless RFID ignition set-up.

Turns out it all fits very neatly into the space once occupied by the air cleaner filter:

Bonus is I'm able to fit an LED on the top triple clamp that will flash when the unit is off, and appear to be an alarm light

I just jumped on SteveF's RFID bandwagon. He lists the components here:
http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=43414.msg492605#msg492605 I've modified the layout a little, but this will give you an idea of the possibilities.
