That's a better way than the first. You added the T500 engine cradle to most of the R5 frame. Makes sense. last one I saw had a TZ frame (same thing - more or less) with modified engine cradle and it looked similar to that.
Did the R5 have a title or is that another challenge to overcome with bronze weld and a set of number stamps?

I'm sure he already has a plan. But if he tried to bend the top tubes they wouldn't match the bottom tubes or the rear of the frame would not match. If he bent them both then it would change the angle and amount of space in the cradle. Best solution most likely would be to weld as is. I was wondering the same thing Richard I suppose we will find out.

No teazer the r5 is currently title less and rich ard one bend = three weld joints that dont fit so there are gonna have to stay. there is gonna be a brace that smoothes it line a little i still need to cut the down tubes a 1/4 inch or so to get level and my chain line

66 ford galaxie 500 emblems are gonna find there way onto my side covers, to replace the 350 emblems not sure which ones yet but they got the look i want. this Bike will be just differentt enuff that if your a bike guy you will look twice but if not you'll walk right by it and think it left a factory like it sets. If all goes as plained

Fit and tacked its a tight fit but I know it would be my chain line it reasonable and the top frame rails are square and level I'm gonna build internal bushing to drill and plug weld for added security I also replaced the bent hoop with a none bent hoop fun fun fun
