Nice bike, I'm sure you'll both have a blast on it.
And the neck didn't even break off the frame on the ride home. That's a win. Of course I'm being a bit facetious mostly because I'm jealous and I know they said that they have fixed that issue. Nice get and I'm curious to here hey comparison with the dr650
Saturday I Picked up two new (to us) 250 gallon fuel tanks for the farm. Found them on ebay for $450 a piece, which is not terrible considering they're full stainless. I just had to drill a hole, then tig a bung on that would accept the fuel pump.
Then Sunday I finally found the Jeep I was looking for! 2016 (or newer) with four doors and a 6 speed manual. As soon as I got it home I immediately took it up to the top of our land to test 4wd capabilities of course.
nice score on the tanks i need some too lol.
Beautiful valley there as well where is it? (you're in murf yeah?)
Good to know. A place in Columbus, about an hour from me is now a dealer. I may have to test ride one. What was the otd price? Can't say I wasn't nervous about it lol.
It's really no comparison to the DR. Different in every way.
Just enough power to ride with zero excess. I can't wheelie it no matter how hard I try lol.
The power is odd, it feels pretty much exactly the same with one rider or two up. I've never ridden a bike that didn't feel slower with a passenger. It handles two up well. (granted we're under 200 combined lol)
Handling is slow and controlled, overall it's just a really really easy bike to ride.
Reminds me of a CB450 a bit.

Not boring hitting the trails... those things are like a KLR... they'll do anything given ample time to do it in. The Himalayas have a really good fan base. I'd not want to run around 2 up all the time on it but fire roads and light adv riding they'd be great.Picked this guy up today for the wife, I got to ride it 2hrs home and it's a blast. Slow and boring but in the best way. Perfect cruiser under 60.View attachment 226104
Haha.. thats hilarious man. good pickup!Picked this up for $200. The guy selling it thought the carb was dirty and that's why it wouldn't run. Turns out when the gas tank is empty it won't run. It's burning some oil and doesn't want to go in reverse, but it starts and rides. It's a trx125
