Bringing this back from the grave...the bike is DONE!
Took it out on it's first ride this weekend, and it runs great! After a trip to Ackermann Cycle Performance in Hamilton to work out the bugs with the air/fuel and clutch I can't be happier with the result.

Sorry for the blurry iphone photo...it's a chrome light wired through the shell. I think I'm going to brush it so it's not so bling bling, more like the tank and signals.

I'm going to work on it a bit more tonight and get it out of the garage for some shots with a real camera.
The tank uses the original mounting point, and the trailing edge of the tank sits a few mm above the fiberglass shell, the foam/leather pad is flush right up to the tank.

I finally got my seat back from the upholsterer, and painted the seat shell. It's cleared with Eastwood satin, not sure I love it but I'll go with it for now...the bare metal looks better in matte than the painted areas.
The brown leather ended up the perfect color, and...

Thanks! Yours looks awesome, great work! That LTD frame is so hard to figure out a custom seat, but if you can do a pan that keeps the seat height flat and only the upholstery looks like it's dropping to match the frame it could look pretty cool without welding a whole new...
