Vintage Vanson leathers Cafe Racer Jacket. Quality leather has aged very well and it still looks great. One zipper on one of the sleeves in missing the pull tab but otherwise they are all in great condition. Size - 42
$75.00
I use a tank bag for toting my stuff back and forth to work. I'm not a big fan of racks and bags hanging off a bike so it's either the tank bag or a backpack.
Im in OKC and always looking for more people to ride with. There seems to always be way more projects going on than actual running bikes.
Here's a local group where you can get a start on finding some people to ride with.

People like this are the reason vintage Japanese bikes are expensive.
I get tired of seeing butchered up vintage bikes. If the guy was my friend I'd tell him to buy a stocker, learn how to keep it running, and modify as time goes by and he finds areas that could be improved.

I guess it depends on where you live or where you're hanging out. I spent a few decades in the local punk/skinhead scene and fighting was unavoidable if you wanted to keep hanging out.
I'm not completely sure on the year of the bike, there is a 71 in the vin so I assume it's a 71. I don't claim to know anything about reading vins though.
If I've got it in usable condition it's for sale or trade. Send me your list or post it and I'll see what I can do.
Man, I think I steered you wrong. It's a fine looking rim but my rub off test (spot below brake arm) shows it to be more of a "looks good at night" type of chrome. Spokes suck but that's pretty common. Not so good for a restoration.
I'd take $20.00 for it. If your interested I'll wipe the dust off and take a picture of it tomorrow. It's not restoration quality as it sits but you can look for yourself and see if it will work.
Did you get your rear wheel? If not I have a nice one, spokes are little rusty, rim is really nice, the rest I'm not sure about as it's still attached to the parts bike.
