That's a weird noise. As was already mentioned check the reed valves. They might be gummed up and sticking a little causing the air coming in to make them buzz kind of like how a kazoo works.
Is the power band adjustable? If so start with the lowest setting and work up. ;)
In all seriousness, I'm going to throw my bet on the disconnected wire theory. Happens often.
Check your float height. If it's off the carb bowls may not be filling fast enough. Definitely sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Also be sure your carbs are synced and that your petcock is free of debris. I recently had a similar issue and when I checked the petcock the screen in the bowl was...
