The baffles and end cap came out of my muffler on a ride the other day. I was told that my exhaust is a mac exhaust. I can't see any marks/serial numbers on it to determine the make of it. I contacted mac several times and i think they may be shut down. (no one answers the phone or emails)...
I almost tried the jb weld on the tip... Ran out of time today.... I think that's the best bet. Too much pressure and it pushes back into the counter shaft. I can only get it threaded about a quarter turn, if that.
I torqued the head off the bolt of the front drive sprocket on my 79 CB750. I was using a dremel to flatten the bolt so i could drill into it to extract it. The bolt ended up going all the way through the countershaft and is sitting in the countershaft now. I managed to get a magnetic...
Sharing my almost completed wiring diagram for the limited edition cb750 using an m-unit. I am unsure where to put the wires for the neutral and oil pressure light. I think they go in the aux1/2 locations but cant manage to get the neutral light to work, i figured the oil one wont work unless...
I hadn't planned on riding two up. The cowl area of the seat is where my battery is housed, so it probably wouldn't support someone sitting on it since it is just a firm foam underneath. I meant to measure the seat last time i was down at the bike but totally forgot. I think it is somewhere...

This is strong stuff... my house smelled like it for a few days after, even had my hood on.
I had a metal seat pan made for me and glued foam to it and shaped it myself. A friend gave me the name of a guy who could sew a vinyl cover for me and wrap the foam. After several months i finally got it back and wasn't entirely happy with it.
I reached out to my aunt who sews a lot and was...
Finally got this back together and running. I still need to do some fine tuning, powdercoat the frame, clean up the motor, new tires, brake light, etc. Rewiring was the biggest task i tackled. I'm using a motogadget m-unit. I need to clean up the cables in the front. Does anyone have any...
Does anyone have insight on this?
I cleaned my tank (rust remover, then the 3 step process of lining the tank with northern radiators tank lining kit) I then removed the paint from the outside of the tank, sanded it down to the finish i wanted and went and got it clear powder coated. The...
Purchased in March '19 with no clue what I wanted to do with it other than cafe/brat style it. I guess the previous owner had the same idea as me, but eventually gave up on the project. Unfortunately I stopped taking progress photos, but later today hope to get some updated ones. I'm stuck at...
I purchased a 79 cb750L in march... im into the wiring of the munit basic.... straight up stealing your wiring diagram! thanks and super appreciative of all the documenting! great looking bike.
does anyone know if the 10th anniversary cb750k (1979) has a CDI or TCI. Revival cycle says a lot of hondas call it a CDI when in fact its is something else. I forgot to bring my clymer schematic home to check to see if the kill switch completes a ground circuit.
Thanks
