Picked this up used on FB. Always wanted one when I was younger. Now my son's playing HS ball figured I'd just do it.
Great machine. Newer ones are easier to microadjust but this ones fine. And I didn't pay $3k!!!!
Run it anywhere with a 1000w generator I have for the track bike.
I should've snapped a pic... but I was too preoccupied trying to figure out what cool looking triple that was.
Here's the new RR. too bad it's north of $20k.
Man what a nice looking bike. The RR looks even cooler.
that is all...
not sure if there is a general discussion subforum or is general talk generally frowned upon. Generally speaking.
Been a couple weeks and put in some miles on the tank. Everything has been working well. I am happy with the shape and function for the most part.
There is one small slow leak on the left back corner that I can't exactly identify. Fuel intermittently shows up in that corner after a long ride and...

But that mill above... beautiful.
Looking for some ideas venting a DIY steel gas tank.
I have this track bike that I thought I'd try making a more track oriented tank for. I'm looking for a particular shape toward the rear and top of the tank that is better to brace and anchor my outside leg. They make add on tank pads that do...
Re: The Ducati Demon
Equal length headers will only make a difference if you run a merge collector for scavenging.
Run separate headers into mufflers and it won't make a difference if they are unequal length.
Might even sound cool with slightly more uneven exhaust rumble, like a harley. LOL.
