Made lots of progress as of the past 2 weeks.. had a setback when i noticed that the head MIGHT be warped.... i wanted to deny it but i took it to the machine shop and they confirmed it was warped..sigh... but once the head was back it was back to the grind on the rebuid! installed new levers...

Wooot!!!! More progress from the weekend!!! ;D Clutch mechanisms and basket back in with its cover..oil pan on.... ATU and now its BACK ON THE BIKE!!!

Alrighty.. well got more possitive steps foreward in the rebuild :) Friday the 13th OOOooOOoooo gears where placed back in and gear selector drum Saturday was the hardest day of the build i think but we powered through it. Staging bolts for proper sequence... after staging they...

Oh for the clutch cover... Aside from the gasket it has 2 locating dowels that have a tight fit so wiggling it won't do much.. U need to tap all sides with some gusto with a soft rubber headed mallet.... After some tapping it will pop out. 8)

Yuuuup... Unfortunately yea... It will still start up but once enough current passes through them it will start to heat up and disrupt the circuit and stall the bike... If u keep using them they could eventually catch fire and damage more wires an stuff. As from what I've seen with other ppls bikes.

Lol thanx... :P I whish I had awesome conditions to work on but it was ether that or the floor lol.. Tho we are making an attempt by putting all parts and bolts in ziplock bags which my ill sis has been very good in doing and properly tagging bags and making notes of where stuff goes in...
