    The Stache's '76 RD400

Re: '76 RD400c -- 2smoker "Ginger" Stache, what is this bike like at higher speeds? 50-60 mph range. Does it feel like the 2 stroke is working hard, smooth, loud? theres a local RD I'm thinking about picking up. I really like two strokes in dirtbikes, yz etc, but never trail rode it like a...

    1978 Goldwing Cafe Racer project

Nope, 3 phase doesn't care how it's wired as long as all three are connected. How do these bikes handle "stock" compared to like a CX or CB of similar size? They must feel pretty heavy?

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

That has to be a damn joke ad... just unreal. The post I made a bit up: The bike was defintly someones projects, they saw what they wanted to do and did it. Trouble is, I can't tell what they were trying to do. Like above said, there's quite a mix mach of parts, but at the time, it worked for...

    71 Indignant CB175 - Complete (w/ pics)!!!

Re: 71 Indignant CB175 - In the midst of painting! Lol that's alright man, that's what that spot putty is for. It definitely comes down to prep at the bondo point before that, though. I try to finish at 180 grit, but end up working finer grain after primer, then do another coat of primer and...

    71 Indignant CB175 - Complete (w/ pics)!!!

Re: 71 Indignant CB175 - In the midst of painting! Hey bud, don't let the one blemish on the tank discourage you too much. I've had quite a few paint screw ups over my projects, but just figure - if you can do it once, you can do it again. Great build, keep at it man.

    1983 KZ750 Build

Nicely done and great follow thru. College definitely limits the money flow for projects. How is the wrap holding up? I've seen it done on some local trucks. It doesn't seem to hold up wheel around wheel wells and high friction zones due to rocks and what have you

    The Stache's '76 RD400

Re: '76 RD400c -- 2smoker Such a clean bike... Was this from a collection, or just a extremely luck find? What are you plans with it? Nice pics on the carbs - probably not just using a iPhone or something I take it? lol

73 XL250 - My first build: College runner.

You could def get into renewable if you get into like a solar company or a wind company. Wind farms definitely need managers for on the ground, not just technicians. It's definitely a cool filed that is changing every day, thats for sure. Mike

What car manufacturers still make, no frills, bare bone cars?

I think you can still get basic vans .. like Ford Transit. Honest to God, I see one in my future by the time I'm 30. You could sleep in it, tools on the walls, open bed all enclosed. Moto would fit perfect, spare space. Sweet long haul vehicle potentially.

73 XL250 - My first build: College runner.

That's a sweet bike there on pipeburn. I'd love to do something like this after my CX. Great start, looks like at this pace it'll be done for the Fall sem. What are you studying? I'm going into my Jr yr, renewable energy. Motorcycle parking is definitely the best.

    What am I looking at?

Totally caught me off guard last week as well... Makes sense having everything in there though, kind of. Definetly shows how nothing is "exact". I'm sure every harness was a little different, variable lengths, etc. Sucky but I'm sure you could organize it a bit.
