Cutting oil is not optional as far as I'm concerned. It will make your bits last 10x longer and keep the disc from getting too hot and possibly warping. A pilot hole will also make the process a lot easier and probably quicker even tho you are drilling every hole twice. I did my disc with a...

A maroon scotch brite pad left a nice smooth satin finish on my fork tubes. All I did was wax it after that and it seems to be holding up OK.

Does anyone have a set of ignition points lying around for a CB450/500T? I am about ready to give up on this electric ignition but I no longer have the stock bits it replaced. I need the plate, points, cam shaft thing, and condensers.

Well I'm having a bitch of a time to get this electronic ignition working again and no longer have the stock parts for the points. I need the entire points assembly with plate, the bit that fits on the camshaft that opens them, and condensers if you have them.
