Cb 500 only runs with choke

I know this usually means its time for a cleaning but before I do that, I have been messing with the bike and wonder if I caused the problem. Checked points gap ( all good) adjusted timing slightly with timing light, and have been syncing carbs with a vacuum gauge. So far so good. Took the...

    Deacon's CB350

Re: Deacon's 1972 CB350 Cafe Project - Dismantle and Store Any ideas on the custom exhaust. I'm in the same boat. Feels like a make or break part of the build no? Something to play with.

    Front drum brake adjustment

Thanks PJ. The shoes are within specs and I have them both touching at the same time when I squeeze the levers by hand. My problem is in the cable adjustment. I don't have enough adjustment room to get the brakes to drag. I feel like it must be something obvious and I keep looking at it but...

    Front drum brake adjustment

Installing new cables on a Honda Cb350 and have changed the bars to clip ons. I see I need to shorten the cables but it seems as though the front drum needs more "pull" that the lever allows to engage the brake. Am I doing something obviously wrong or does anyone know of a link to set up the...
