I have 40mm travel from the tire to the engine/ exhaust. Do some of you know if its possible to put a machanical stopper inside the usd forks to have a security of knowing its impossible that this can happend under a powerful brake down

The frame and engine is 1983 TR1
The suspension front and rear is from a 02 yamaha R1
The wheels are from a 96 virago 750:

That i have not checked yet since i not have front brakes connected. I have been worried about that, so i have a coupple of zx400 they are about 40mm longer. So that is my plan B
