    My 1979 MZ TS250 Project

Hi mate, clip ons were from silverbackmanufacturing and levers were from dirthut both on ebay. TO be honest the old seat wasnt great quality. When you saw it in the flesh the shape wasnt symetrical which always bugged me. Honda seat also gives me more space under the seat to hide everything and...

Films not been sped up, they really are that mad! Spent 7 years living on the island and used to go out and watch every time. Find a nice solid looking tree to sit behind or top of a bank you can quickly dive down! :D Moved away from the island last year but taking my dad back over for the...

    My 1979 MZ TS250 Project

Small update. Bike is now all stripped down, unnecessary brackets removed and frame and cardboard pattern has been sent off to have a custom under seat tray made to hold all the wiring. My 1979 MZ TS250 Project

Well I got the rear sets fitted this weekend. They clamp onto the frame rather than weld on due to regulations for the race series but seem sturdy enough. Got my angle grinder back from the old man too so will be removing unnecessary brackets and rear footpeg mounts this week. Also ordered a...

Capacitor calculation for a 6v bike

Hi guys, Need a bit of help. Im trying to work out what size/rating capacitor i would need to use on my 1979 MZ TS250 to replace the battery. Looking to loose as much weight as possible from the bike and also make hiding all the wiring in the seat hump a lot easier. The standard battery is 6v...

Cheers guys, made a little more progress this weekend but not much. Got the seat trimmed down to shape a little more and bolted down. Not sure if i should trim the back a little more yet to bring it up higher or leave the tail curving down. Thinking of going side number plate so dont need it for...
