    Velocity stacks tuning

I am having a similar problem on my CB100. Yes....I know, its in no way, shape or form a high performance race bike: its my fun little cruise around town bike. However, I want to get as fast as possible by tuning it out correctly... I bought it off someone who put a Chinese, mikuni knockoff...

    Cool cheep speedo/tach

Looks pretty cool, like to see how it performs. It's cheap enough to hack up a spare headlamp bucket and bondo it in for that sleek headlamp/speedo combo which makes me drool.

    Valve Cover Removal...The easy way.

I'm overhauling one of my CB100 engines and I've come to the point where I have to remove the two valve covers on top of the cylinder head. I want to make this as painless as possible so I'm asking for advise on the best method. Basically what I'm wondering is if I should get a torque wrench...

    CB/CL175 Alternator Puller Tool

If you have the nut off the alternator already, you can take your rear axle and screw it in the the center hole...Then simply whack it with a hammer a few times. It should come right off. I'm serious too haha. It really works.

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it. Like you, I'm just using the bike as a scoot around town bike. I'm not looking to get to serious. Just want to make sure I don't fuck up the engine (gas in oil issue). I've got like cb100 carbs laying around so I'll clean them up nice nice. Got...

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

Its running without the battery... There is a small chrome metal casing under the seat that has "Gen F Bat" but Im pretty positive its not connected. The headlight and tail light do not work right now. My next task was to get all the electronics all sorted out. I just wanted to make sure it ran...

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

HOLY SHIT!! Small world!!! I did not buy the bike off Larry. I bough it off a guy named John that lives here in Providence, Rhode Island. The seat on there now is actually a skateboard deck. What can you tell me about the machine? What kind of carb set up did you have on there? Is that a...

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

Well, that certainly is kind of an odd carb. Is it a Mikuni clone? Yes I believe it is infect a Mikuni clone. Yeah, the engine runs, I can ride it around. I really don't want to though because I do know that gas in the oil will def thin out the oil and cause damage. I guess I really just have...

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

I've been really busy lately and unable to get pictures taken. I'll try to later tonight and also get the actual carb model and brand post up as well. I did however change the oil in it today. While I was doing this I was thought of two questions. 1.) Could the gas in the oil problem be...

Adjusting Carb float height on CB100 Engine.

I have the manual as I stated above. The original petcock is more or less just by-passed. I don't see how a leaky petcock would cause oil fouling in the engine???
