Vacuum bleeder! I got one a few months ago and have used it multiple times. Wouldn't be without one now. An additional tip is to tap the master cylinder as you're blending it will unlock more bubbles. Are you seeing bubbles in the resovior as you are pumping? If not maybe a master cylinder issue?

It's probably just the exhaust nut you dropped into the cylinder, sounds like its gone now... Its probably wedged in the valve which is the chuffing noise? :-) Sorry couldn't resist!

I'm with spotty, just dive in! If you really think you can do it all in a week... You'll remember most of it! You'll need help with the engine, takes two. You can probably get stripped in 1 day. Actually you'll be surprised you may not need to strip completely? Leave forks and front wheel...

Heading off for inspection, fingers crossed. Damn that last 20% is a bitch! still wiring is now nicely tucked under the seat, all the little bits and pieces are in place... almost time to ride! Had to put the old exhaust back on, it wont's pass the inspection without a cat.

Back firing and blue flames out the carb? Id be double checking timing and plug leads, meter open close across all cylinders in relation to top dead centre? Timing chain? (not sure what this bike has) I agree, it should fire with pods
