Backfiring / Loud Pop on deceleration

I had a KZ650 that popped on decel due to too rich pilot jets. I've had others that pop on decel due to too lean mains.

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

I don't think the rocker pins are different. Why don't you just buy that seized 350 motor I linked to you? Substantially more power.

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

They are. Are you sure about simply swapping rockers? I'm almost positive I measured a difference in rocker pin location between a fat cam and skinny cam cam-box.

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

Yeah, I just looked at the parts numbers, SL had it's own head goin on, at least by part number, where CL and CB shared part numbers.

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

I don't think any SL had a fat cam. They were only made to 71, and I think 72 and 73 was skinny cam. I might be wrong though, been a while. And it's not just the rockers that are different, the location of the rocker pivots are different in the cam basket. As far as carbs go, I do believe the...

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

Skinny cam is the later version. I think the only time an SL had a different cam than it's CL and CB counterparts was the very first year, and pretty sure that was a fat cam. Won't work. A first year SL head, cam basket and cam would work, but you'd need different carbs, too, the SL's ran...

    Broken camshaft. Repair possible?

There are two versions of the CB350 camshaft. Big lobe and small lobe. Location of the rocker arm pivot was different. I don't know which one the cb250 falls under. A same year cb350 cam should work just fine though.

Where to buy higher compression pistons for cb750F

When I say top end, I mean the entire top end, jugs, pistons, head. A K head wont fit with F pistons. An F head with K pistons will drop compression. But yeah, other than that, pretty much right on.

    New suspension CB550

An early goldwing (75-77) front end is the easiest upgrade. Larger fork diameter, twin discs, pretty much a direct bolt on, I think the bearings are the same size, even. I might be wrong on that, though. Also, the forks may be a tad long, but it's still the easiest conversion. Some Hagon 2810's...

Where to buy higher compression pistons for cb750F

I've seen more than a few people switch to early K top ends with wiseco 836 pistons, that might be because a while back they didn't even make big bore pistons for the F. They require different pistons because the combustion chamber is shaped differently, and K piston actually drop compression...

Where to buy higher compression pistons for cb750F

Wiseco used to make high compression pistons in 1st through whatever'th oversize. I think they only make 836 now though.
