A plug will tell you a lot on how the motor is running. How old is the fuel in the tank?

Pull the plugs and see what they look at. That is where I would start.

Re: 71' Yamaha R5-Mckay Moto Works (new pics 03/16/12) Yes. I have both a tender and a ballistic charger. The only time I need something more then a tender is if I have to balance the cells. Which you shouldn't need to do unless you go below 6-7v's.

Most of these are 12v. If you opened your tail light and installed one of these strips inside they would be just fine. Nice and bright.

Currently I work at a shop in Clearwater, fl called Manx Motorsports. I do have a garage with a nice set up. The only thing I am missing is a lift. Sounds like you also have a nice set up. What lift did you go with? I am looking into getting one of the cheap Harbor freight ones for the house.
