no and no, just race, other then wera theres ahrma, uscra. putting usd forks on it means it will never see a vintage grid. do you really want to do track days with that bike with nothing but modern bikes? wont be fun. get on the track already.
i think there "relaxed" because of the low vintage race turnouts. of the 15 races i did with wera in 2020 (V4,5, 6LW) i was the only one on the grid in 12 of them.
NO wera this year planned. i did 15 races with wera last year ( V4,5, 6lw). in 12 of those i was the only starter. plan is to do the 3 uscra rounds and maybe the new jersey ahrma round
i believe Kurt Hoff still races a fz600 along with his rd in ahrma. you have checked the rule books. wera, ahrma, uscra. ??? check the rules about swingarms and forks. dia. etc. wera and uscra are pretty lax . you will get called out at ahrma.
i would rebuild the engine while its apart and out of the frame. Ed Toomey rebuilds cranks and uses proper suzuki parts. dont be temped by the rebuild crank bearings and seals from a certain japanese mail order co. i use there pistons w/ suzuki rings. center plug heads are nice, stock ones may...
