Getting the bike closer and closer. The speedo needs to still be rebuilt and the tail light is not right and will be reworked, The rest is pretty much done! Some small weeping from the push rod tubes but that is a fight on all classic Triumph motors. Anyway, I will get more detail on here soon...

Did you have to modify your cases to take the later style crank? It looks like you are using the early style pre-unit cases. I thought the bearings were different for these case. Please correct me and set me straight. Love the project and looking forward to more.
If they are like the Norton they are screwed together. I think they have a tool for this but I would try a strap wrench and lots of solvent. Good luck.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was used by BSA and Triumph as well. It's also the same as early Commando. I used a Commando hub and the plate that came with that was the same other than the torque arm used instead of a nub that slides into the swingarm.
So the rear brake has been a bit of a pain. The swingarm I happen to have uses a torque arm and finding a brake plate to match has been a bit of a challenge. I purchased one on eBay from Israel that looked the part and it was the only thing I could find. Even local parts hoarders had never seen...

Wish I could take credit for this but by friend came up with a slick indicator light for the rear. You hardly notice it once the seat is on. They are LED marker lights. I do a fair amount of night riding and you need indicators at night here to be legal.
