Got it mostly wired now. When starter button is pressed then released it wont stop without hitting kill switch

Making my first attempt at custom wiring my bike and it's turning into a nightmare. I've gone thru all kinds of diagrams and can't find one specific to my kz650 d2. Starting to suspect that the "stock" diagram I had been using in the back of the Clymer manual is wrong. A lot of the wires...

New to the scene. Staying in a basement in Montville right now. Just started a '79 Kawasaki SR650 build. It had been sitting in grandparents garage for like 29 yrs and is in fantastic condition. Got real lucky on that one
