Hey guys so I'm currently trying to do a brat style build on my cb450 and I need to order a hoop. I don't want to do the standard DCC flat skateboard seat. On other bikes I've looked at there seems to be a strong sharp up-kick to the frame at the end of the seat as you can see in the pics. So my...
So currently I'm building a CB450 out of a bunch of parts bikes I have sitting around and wanted to do a vintage desert sled look with it. However this bike is on a very tight budget and I'm not looking to spend 500 on an old husky tank. I'm planning on building this bike to race around my...
So I'm not 100% new here, I've had my account for 2 years but have barely been on and in those 2 years I've barely pursued any of my projects. Well now I'm tired of saying that I'll do them later and figured it'd be a good time to get back into this forum. I'm out in Asheville, NC and work...

Anyone know of some simple-ish things I could do to get some more power of my CB450? I'd just like to see what's out there and the cost of these mods to see if it's in the future for my bike.
I have a 79' XS400 that I bought as a parts bike to help my dad restore his XS. Now that we took all the stuff we need I'm selling the rest. Tell me what part you want and I'll grab you a picture. I'm in Western North Carolina BTW.
So I'm doing a 74' CB450 and was considering mounting a set of them on my bike. I love the way that they look and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? I've heard that they don't last too long. Any other suggestions for alternatives are appreciated.
So I'm kinda new to this whole thing and was wondering what lowering a bike involves. Just trying to get a feel for if I could tackle it myself. Any pointers are appreciated.
