Hey guys so I'm currently trying to do a brat style build on my cb450 and I need to order a hoop. I don't want to do the standard DCC flat skateboard seat. On other bikes I've looked at there seems to be a strong sharp up-kick to the frame at the end of the seat as you can see in the pics. So my question is can I achieve that with a pre fabricated hoop from somewhere or would I have to make that?
You can use any hoop the correct width, you just need to miter the hoop and the frame to fit together. If you use the one from ebay you are locked in to that angle and height. If you cut and miter a regular hoop you can make the angle and height whatever you want.
