Buying them from China maybe cheaper.
They list as 150, but post out a CG125 barrel an piston. How do I know ? I have on the shelf in the garage with new 125 barrels and piston kits.
I have just spent the $9 and and bought the Honda part that Allan mentioned. It is off a Z50 honda. It is the same diameter as the Ace. Made of thicker rubber.
I am quite fed up with the leaking fuel cap. Fuel runs out and slowly destroys the stickers on my tank.
I have been looking for a replacement fuel cap, no luck so far.
My gut feeling with the 150 kit an VM22. It needs a 105 jet for the top end over 100 kph. My 100 jet in a VM22 runs very well at all other times. Just seems to running out of fuel at high speeds for the ACE.
Nice Sunday morning to head out on the Ace. It was the first time I have used the Ace on 100- 110 kph freeway for a about 80 km.
Cruising along at 95- 100 kph with more to go. But it seems to run out fuel once you creep over 100 kph towards 110 kph.
I am running a 150 kit with a +1 on the...
Last years winter project was the Ace. This years winters project. I did ride it home a few weeks ago. :)

W800, one the best round the world bikes. Far better than a 1200gs
I have been running a +1 on the front sprocket and 150 kit for a while now an have forgotten about it. The ACE accelerates up steep hills with the larger sprocket. I do a lot of cruising in 80 kph zones and that is where, I feel the larger front sprocket comes in with the 150 kit.
I also...
I made spacers for by using old cheapie sockets about 20 mm high. Placed them under the fork cap. Does just enough to stiffen up the forks on the bumpy roads around here.
It is a good thing to check the tappet clearance at 100 km as the user manual states. I seen a couple new ACE's now and they all seem to be shipped with no valve clearance at all.
Adjusting the vales might sound hard, You can download a PDF for a honda CG125 workshop manual. This explains with...
Re: the "Ace" - adding lightness!
I tried the 34 th rear sprocket on and had to take a link out of the chain. I am now running the std 38th on the rear and one tooth larger on the front. That makes it the same as if i used a 36th rear.
Sort of a half way compromise. Not quite sure what the...
Re: Re: the "Ace" - adding lightness!
I have to agree. I am really surprized on how much of a difference the 150 makes. I have really steep hills around my place and the stocker. I would be back to first gear before the top of the hill. Now it fly's up in third at 60 kph. I also have the big...
