    I have an 81 kz750e. I went through the entire wiring harness. If you follow the turn signal wires through the harness, they reach a connection with 3-4 other wires. That's where I'd end the connection

    Help diagnose problem - KZ

    Clutch needs to be in. I've got a kz750 and I had electrical issues in the starter assembly housing as well, a member suggested going through my electrics with deoxit dn5, and that made a huge difference. Hope that helps!

    ignition issue...

    I did try this, and also switched plugs between cylinders, and the issue still remained with 1 & 4. 1 & 4 pipes have not gotten hot. Only 2 &3. I know I'm getting combustion in 2 &3, but I haven't had it running long enough to dynamically sync the carbs

    So, I've got a kz750 4 cylinder. I have recently put it back together. My problem is, Cylinders 1 & 4 are not showing up as firing with a timing light. @ &3 are. I have blue spark in all cylinders when plugs pulled and grounded out against the block. I have swapped coils, I have checked voltages...

    engine not starting, potential carb issue

    Got a bit further, it started to sputter but the carb overflowed while on prime. I'll have to take another stab at it tomorrow. Maybe my timing is off now? I did static time it, but maybe I didn't do that correctly? I don't know. Thanks for your help!
