Very rare 1924 Neracar cycle..built in Syracuse NY and one of 50 or so still running.All original example,registered historic vehicle and technically a "horse-less carriage".Neracars feature a bizarre center-hub steering mechanism,like half a car front end.Also a 7 speed friction drive trans,a clutch-less mechanism similar to a snapper mower.Very nice bike,original seat,grips,decals and more.Runs,drives and stops...This particular bike won best unrestored cycle in the country at an amca meet in the 1990s and was featured in oct. 1994 old bike journal magazine,of which i have copies.Many documents and photos and adds come with it,including a copy of the patent for the magneto system charging system.
Bike is located in mid-Metairie. Eighteen thousand dollars or best offer..I am needing a good diesel truck and toy-hauler for my business,or will trade for something older and stranger if there is such a thing around
