hey guys, recently came across this at a garage sale (been sitting for aprox 30 years or so Ive been told) and I was wondering if it is a worthwhile proyect, are spare parts easy to find? Cheap or not? Any sites you should recommend I visit?

Cheers!

So I assume you bought it? Awesome little bike - don't know much about them, but there are a few in Barber's museum so they must be cool :)

Looks pretty complete - dust it off, put some fluids in it, clean the carbs, new plug and check the timing and I'd bet it will fire up. Cables, speedo and tires and you're off to the races.

Don't know much about them either, but I'd be wary. That RH cover is off and there's no telling what any number of PO's have done to it. I doubt parts are readily available or cheap. Does it have a title? Have you done a resto before? What is the extent of your mechanical prowess? How much are they asking for it?

Doesn't LOOK like much of a project, but if it's been sitting for 30 years (and is already a 60 year old bike) there is no telling what's wrong with it, what's locked up, or what someone else has already screwed up. My .02

Edit: all that being said, that is a REAL cool bike ;D

my mechanical prowess is limited to what I have learned so far playing around with my gs, and thjs would be my first restoration, it's quite cheap since the chrrent owner has no intention on doing anything with it himself.

I know that this is not how a restoration goes BUT if the engine doesn't work can you fit a different one there? I mean, as a last resort just to have it running

I figured as a garage sale find it was $50 or $100 in which case there's zero risk. There are likely $1000+ worth of parts on that thing.

That would be cool garage art at $200. If it can be brought back to life, it is a steal !
