Selling a 1966 CL160 Scrambler.
What a great classic bike. Don't let this picture fool you...the frame, tank, fenders, and headlight bezel were all painted a nasty brown colour. All of these parts are in good condition. Very little rust on the frame. Tank is super solid inside and out...no rust. Headlight and classic speedo are perfect. Chrome on rims and exhaust is also amazing..
Bike does have a seat, but I forgot to put it on the bike in the picture. The seat pan is solid...and seat cover has some tears.
Engine will turn over and has compression...carbs good, but likely need a good cleaning. Bike does not run. Needs a new kickstart lever. Tires have tread but are old. Likely needs a new chain and a good cleaning. Scrambler exhaust is in amazing shape..solid, and chrome is in great shape. half of the exhaust shield has been broken off though.
But a great starting point for a vintage little bike.
Looking to get $550 obo...no ownership with the bike.
I also have a parts bike that could be negotiated into the sale. Parts bike is a 1968 CB175 and has mint frame (no rust), good forks, perfect seat, great rear springs, great rims with moto x tires...no engine. Can provide photos.
