Time has run out for me unfortunately. Due to some life changes, I probably will not be able to work on this thing until NEXT summer, so I am posting it on here to see if someone can save her from being shelved for another year. I made the mistake of leaving the key on one night and I think that fried the new coil I put on it, so it has no spark now.

1968 Honda CL175 Sloper
No title.

Many new parts including:
Brand new OEM wiring harness
All new cables
New battery
New front brakes
New levers
New cable adjusters (not installed)
New gas cap
New foot peg rubbers (not installed)
New petcock
New chain

Mods:
Brand new intakes with crossover tube from redwillissuperman
Brand new chinese 24mm carbs with adapters (have originals still)
New cone filters
Aftermarket headlight assembly (have original still)
Gas tank has been cleaned and sealed with POR-15 (a little got on top of the tank itself)
Replaced old speedo off of one from a later 175
Upgraded to LED's where possible

Things I know it will need:
New coil
A new seat
Clutch is currently frozen so will either need to be broken free or replaced

I really do not know what to ask for price-wise since I truly do want to keep it, but life is just not letting me have my way. Open to offers or suggestions on a price. Also open to trades for other bikes too. I like enduro style bikes but pretty much anything with two wheels and a motor that I can ride this summer will pique my interest.

Located just outside of St. Louis, MO.

The "no title" thing is a bit of an issue for most of us. That means it's a pile of parts to anyone who can't get it titled at a reasonable price.

To get it running all you appear to need is a coil and they are cheap on ebay. Almost any coil to fit a CB160/175,250/350/750 will do the job.

To free the clutch, pull in the clutch lever, stick it in a gear and push until the clutch breaks free.

Seat is fine for riding around town and short trips. Why does it need to be replaced? A little rust and a torn cover I see, but as long as you can sit on it without getting a loose rusty spring where you don't want it, duct tape will work.

If that can't be organized with the other things going on in your life, it can wait another year. It's about 48 years old a few more weeks won't make a lot of difference.

I understand the no title part is a bit of a turn off for some folk. I personally was going to go the Vermont route when I got her up and running.

It is really just bad timing. This week was essentially my first and last week to work on this bike. School ended last week (I am a teacher and going to school at night) and I move from Southern IL to Milwaukee this Sunday. I cannot bring any of my bikes up north with me until i am in a place that has a garage/shed and that may be a year or two.
