1969 CL350 for $150......yes or no?

found this bike locally. the guy want $150 for it. engine status unknow. should i pick this up for all you vultures?

Unless the engine is totally screwed, I would go for it. I would guess it's been raced/ abused though. From the bolt on rear hoop, cable for the rear brake (no lever?), steering stabilizer, etc.

Could go either way: somebody really cared for it or somebody beat the heck out of it.

That's actually a 1969 SL350, pretty rare. The steering damper, forks and rear brake cable are worth that much. I'm almost finished restoring one. But there's no exhaust and unless there are rags in the ports, good chance the motor is rusted stuck.

Well if don't care about a stock restore than it's a good base for a project. Missing key parts are fenders, sidecovers, seat, tail light and exhaust.

Haha... Looks like a winner. Seeing as I have some SL parts in the ol' garage. And a 350 lump... And sure, theres 6 other bikes in the garage (plus 3 of Matts, seeing as its his garage) someone should buy this and Ill come buy it from them. For fun.
