Forgot to come back to this thread (been busy buying crap, lol).

Looks FANTASTIC! Love the originality . . . not just another CB350 ;-)

some minor changes, shortened the rear fender, polished out the upper triple, changed tail light and side number...

I like the brown seat with the bare metal. I dig the bike, can't decide if I like the swirls in the tank/fender or not but definitely dig it overall.

I saw your bike up for sale on CL. Moving on?

I'm torn, i love the bike, its fun and looks awesome. On one hand i'd really love to have some cash and pick up a new project with some change to spare, and on the other, i'm already 99% done with this thing, so why jump into another. Its part of the game i guess, dissonance is part of growth.

I wouldn't budge on the price, maybe even up it a little. If it sells, it sells, if it doesn't, ride it. I may put my bikes up at a price I am comfortable letting them go for- NOT what I think will get them sold fastest.

Hmmm, but if it does sell, what do you think you will get? My list goes like this:

RD350 / RD400
Airhead BMW
Kawasaki H1 or H2

it'll be an airhead for certain. locally there is an H1 but its in shit shape, and rd's aren't good for the long distance rides from what i've heard...good point on the price. might have to bump it back up to $5000 or something and see if i get any hits. seems pretty slow at this juncture, but maybe its just not reaching the right folks, or everyone is broke...lol

Airheads can definitely go the distance. I routinely see them with over 50k miles. You don't get that many miles going to the convenience store and back.

You're probably looking for a very specific buyer is all. When the right person sees your bike they will be willing to drop the coin. It may take some time but I wouldn't bend if you don't have to sell it. I see a lot of half ass "cafe" bikes for prices similar to what your legit work of art is up for.

Sounds like a smart call. Thanks for the insight and opinions bud, it is appreciated. i guess i've decided that at this point, i will keep it until i get it 100%, ride the shit out of it and try and sell it next spring after taxes are paid out, when everyone is looking for bikes and has money.

Also, couldn't agree more on the half-ass cafe bikes up on CL, so much shit its incredible.

I took some glamor shots of the bike yesterday, thought i'd share.

Dashing.. Really love the expression the drop down bars, polished steel, natural rubber grips and leather seat gives the bike. Inspirational.

bike looks like fun

Bought the blank plate holder and modified it by shortening it and adding some speed holes. Thanks!!
