1970 r5 350 Value

Been Around the Block
Just need to know some people's opinions on the value of a 1970 r5 350. Condition is rough, but it runs "like a scalded dog". Starts easily, idles nice, no weird noises. Kinda rusty and dirty all over... Anyone got a ballpark?

If you weren't all they way across TN, I'd come buy that from you. I can't get my hands on hardly any two strokes in Arkansas.

I'm looking to buy it ;D Not mine. Just trying to see if it's worth the cash. I'm going in about 45 min. to check it out.

Its worth the 700 he's asking if it runs well.
Although I'd try to talk him down to 5 for the hell of it.

No title... It's super easy to get one in TN (notarized bill of sale and one form to fill out - took me 12 days to get my last title after I shipped the paperwork out), but he doesn't have one and "don't want to mess with it". Value no title?

Try to use the lack of title as a bargaining chip, but like you said it takes a 5 minute trip to the courthouse to sort that out so its really a non-issue here.

You also don't need a bill of sale at all, much less notorized. You only need a copy of the Vin number if its 30+ yrs old.

Value with no title will vary greatly depending upon state of residency.

I can take a bill of sale (not notarized) to the DMV and have a clean and clear title in my hand in 30 days.

Bike fired up from cold first kick. 6 cold beers and $500 later she is in my garage... Was going to do a quick flip with it, but 2-stroke fever got me bad today. This is my first (first ride even on a 2 stroke), so build thread and pics to come! I can't part ways with it just yet.
