1971 cb350 custom (rolling chassis)

Seeing shit like this makes me mad I went to do Chemistry instead of following my dad and doing engineering haha. Granted I still try my damndest with mechanical things and I'm pretty knowledgeable, finding a job doing it with a chemistry and marketing degree would be difficult haha.

Looks great man and I'm lookin for a 350/360/500 for my first, older bike and would love for it to turn out the way yours is coming.

normally im not a fan of hardtails but yours has a great look to it.
how to hear more about how it runs and rides

Thanks! I'll keep everyone updated on how it rides whenever i get to that stage.

Hardtail café? Every done one or ridden one before?

Have I ever done one or ridden one before?? haha nope I've never even seen one before....

I love the lines of the bike, but am also a bit concerned about it's rideability.

No doubt about the craftsmanship, though. Beautiful work.

Re: 1971 cb350 custom salt flats racer

So it's about time I get to work! I've done quite a bit since my last post so I'm sorry for the long delay. Currently I've finished the motor, finished the rear section (still have to sew some leather for seat), tail light and headlight mounted and I'm halfway done with the new wiring harness. The exhaust should be done within the next month or so. The rear tire isn't as close to the frame as it looks in the pictures. Heres the latest pics:
