1971 CB350 Tank

My buddy game me a tank for my 87 Suzuki GS...my issue is, i'm trying to figure out what the two lines are that are coming off the bottom of the tank. Any help would be great.

They connect to each other to equalize the fuel level in the tank.

Run a piece of fuel line and some good hose clamps.

Just a line from one to the other? Sorry if its a dumb question...

Not a dumb question. Look inside a cut up tank and you'll see the fuel can have a hard time, at low levels, getting over the hump. You can run dry and have almost a litre left in some tanks.

So if the fuel can't get over the frame hump, it can go under it with the two fittings and some pipe.

Im running a 1971 tank on my 69 cb350 i love the flip up cap. I got my NOS petcock off of ebay. But it can be found for the same price on dime city cycles, and their products saved my butt multiple times. Heres a link.

Mine came with an o-ring, but a trip to lowes or ace hardware could fix that!
