Lightly restored to original condition (patina remains).

If a part is not original, I most likely have kept it. Signals are german version, bars are not original.

Used as daily summer commute, great on highway. Needs nothing. Runs and drives A+++.

550 motor replaces finiky 500cc transmission. rebuilt winter 2012/13 (better shifting design cosmetically nearly identical)

I want it. But I can't buy it. Damn it! My first bike was a 1973 CB500 and I still miss it. Never really had it running right so didn't get a real chance to enjoy it.

Thanks Tim....yes after a summer the 500 trans started to drop out between 2/3....hated to part with the original 500cc but the 550 transmission has been rock solid. I redid the top end (well gord bush did)....and put in new rings seals etc....also has the later improved top end valve train....

Can show with little notice in mississauga heated storage unit....
