crazypj said:Check fuel screw settings, probably need to be screwed in 1/2 turn. It's running rich at idle but also way too slow, bump throttle stop screws up a bit so it idle's 900~1100 rpm. Just had as look at the carbs you dropped off the other day, the spring on fuel screw is too long on these so screw is held out way too far. I know these were parts carbs but Ross may not have checked? Screw is next to manifold under throttle stop lever
Knoxes said:Hey - nice build. I'm curious - can you explain or post some pics of your final arrangement with the battery tray, solenoid and reg/rec? Also, what did you do about the front brake light switch?
crazypj said:O2 sensor is a good idea. The rental per week isn't too bad, plus they will take it off a new one if you decide to buy/
teazer said:Just a thought. The carbs looks somewhat corroded in those pics where we can see the mouth (inlet) or the carb. Are you absolutely sure that the internals of both crabs are spotlessly clean including jets and all the tiny passageways?
I haven't looked at the carbs on the bike, wasn't me who did a shitty job. I'll be doing the usual modifications to the spare carbs, when they are on bike we can see about drilling exhaust and fitting O2 sensorsRGRH said:The good news is that PJ is rebuilding and modifying my spare/parts carbs.

RGRH said:No, I didn’t rebuild and clean these carbs. I had someone do it for me and I think you’re correct. The good news is that PJ is rebuilding and modifying my spare/parts carbs.
