1974 cb350f1 oil capacity

I have a 1974 cb350f1 and cannot for the life of me find out what the oil capacity is! I have looked everywhere online with no luck. Any help would be great also, what oil is recommended . Thanks for any help!

hi mate these little beautys take 3.5 ltr if you had a strip down motor slightly less for a basic oil change for that use the dipstick as you add oil to check half way between marks on dipstick is good to go get her oiled up and get ya wheels turning

It's either 3.6 or 3.8 quarts, don't have my manual right in front of me. Do you have a manual? That info is in the front. Oil can depend on conditions, but standard is 10w40, and I don't use synthetic but change it frequently.

I use 10 W 40 semi synthetic oil from SILKOLENE over here in UK seems to work fine even in the hot summer yup we do get the hot spells too haha 8)

the manual says 3.7 quarts U.S, don't use quarts as a measure in U.K much :-\
