cool... my bike needed far more rebuilding than yours... Wouldhave been nice to just do some cosmetic and functional tweaks and have a fun bike.

That tail light needs a serious downsizing though. Even by '70s standards... Honda designed the worst tail ligh ton these bikes.

Thanks Man I got Lucky that I only had to rotate the cam, change a valve out, and we set the timing so no major engine overhaul thank goodness. And as far as the tail light got one on the way from dime city had to see how the seat fitted before I ordered it!

Braket for seat built and painted ready for install! Got the spray paint that had been applied to side covers sanded down and gone. Getting ready to prep for paint.

Hey....The bike lives on. Just saw this thread. Here it is a year later. I had all the valves replaced and re seated and it is up and running again. I am currently working on a charging issue. Here are some picks of my progress.

Tank is bare metal with a black stripe. I clear powder coated the tank to keep it from rusting. Repainted the frame. New rings. New valves. Enjoyed working on it. Thanks for (selling) passing it on.
