So it’s a long story but I use to be a member here years ago, bought this bike in boxes and intended to fix her up. Linked up with a couple folks from here (I forgot their names, I apologize) who helped me. I’m from Akron Ohio, one of the gentleman was from Manchester/New Franklin area of Ohio, another guy was in Beaver PA and another gent from Maryland. We all met each other at Mid Ohio Vintage. Anyways, I’ve had the bike for years and it’s time to get rid of her to a better home. Figured someone on here could do better with it than Craigslist. Reason it was in boxes is because the guy who bought it in 1977 blew the original motor. I got a R5 motor from a member of this forum in Beaver PA. I cut the rear of the frame off and welded a loop, made a custom seat and reseal the R5 motor with new pistons and rings after having the cylinders honed. I cut the original oil fill neck off the side oil tank and welded a bung so you can fill it without lifting the seat. It still needs a lot of work and I have just about every stock part.
330-472-0865 my name is tyler - leave a voicemail if I don’t answer, or text me. Also have a 1977 kz400 I’m posting.
thank you!
Let me know what you guys think this thing is worth

Those guys sound suspicisously like Justinlonghorn and Vonyinzer AKA Justin(Maryland) and Mike Dock(Beaver). If I was closer and could cross the boarder I'd be interested in the RD.

Unfortunately it probably isn't worth a whole lot but having all or most of the stock parts might make it interesting to someone looking for a stock RD350. For most of us, it's another incomplete project that will absorb cash like a black hole.

The Brad Scientist (Bradj) is in Maryland as well.

Shoot, I'll bite on the RD. I'm sure shipping would be the toughest part, but would if there was a way to get it to San Diego for a decent price I'd consider making an offer. I'm looking for my next project.
