1975 400f Cafe Project

Sounds like you have a short to ground on the positive wire between the brake switch and the lights. That wire takes some funky turns to get to the back of the seat. Check to see if it is pinched or chaffed through the insullation anywhere. Sometimes it helps narrow it down to know if it only happens when you are sitting on the seat or not.
Hope that helps

Seems that the LED lights had a problem. I swapped them for a different tail light and no more fuse issues.

I cut the rear footrest brackets off my '75 CB750 parts bike to weld onto the 400f for new rearset brackets to mount the Dime City rearsets.

Just ordered a new shorty muffler, rear brakelight switch, plug caps, exhaust seals, and black face mini-speedo with indicator lights for it. Also put the airbox back on since it was fouling the two center plugs.

For the KZ750 twin I ordered shorty mufflers, plug caps, and exhaust seals.

Is this thing done yet!?!?!...what in the world have you been doing?!?! You need to hurry up.

The new speedo... remove the ugly aftermarket generic chrome ignition/neutral light bracket... drill a new mounting hole for this speedo bracket... wire it up so the indicator lights work.... thats the ticket....

The kickstand tore away from the bike so moving it around and riding is much more of a hassle since I have to use the center-stand BUT it's being repaired now and I should have it back in a day or two.

Next on the agenda is finishing the seat and getting the speedo attached and wired.

I also replace the later model throttle control with an earlier one to match the left side... and it has a cool retro looking... cruise control? Sweet.

JESUS!!!! would you forget bout the flippin cruise control switch and get that S.O.B. done already !!!! LOLLOLLOL When is the kickstand gonna be done? Ive been riding my bike for a year now. My plates expire this month.
