Got this bike off a curb here in town. Destined for the scrap yard I intervened.

Most the bike was there but needed some TLC.

Products I use;
Rust Remover - Workshop Hero Rust Bath (http://www.workshophero.com/de-rust-motorcycles.aspx)
Paint Stripper - Rustoleum Aircraft Remover (http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=385)
LED Lights - Ledlight.com

First I pulled the wheels and cleaned them up and put on a nice Pair of Michelin Gazelle Moped Tires ($50 for the pair)

Next I sorted out the wiring an installed a new left bar control.

Now starts the Fab work.
Made a seat pan for a simple brat seat and chopped the rear fender.
Also built a small electronics pocket onto the stock airbox. Thus eliminating the need for side covers and still hiding electrical components.
Also welded on an old muffler I had lying around.

Tank is currently getting a workshop hero Rust Remover bath.

Primed the rear fender and box and got the carb re-installed with the boot.
Started on the seat also. Still need my top layer of foam and my vinyl wrapped.

I'll be watching your build unfold. Hoping I can steal a couple of ideas from ya for mine.

Muchly appreciated. I will have good pics of the brat seat wrapping process I do.

I also just patched a spot in the bottom of my tank that was awfully rusty and had a bunch of pin holes.

And here is my tail light.
$10 TSC trailer tail light

Also started painting the airbox and rear fender (previously primed) I am using VHT metallic engine enamel because I am also doing my tank and it is chemical resistant so as far as rattle can paint goes it wont run when gas gets on it. I think it looks pretty good. Tough to paint with out runs but I am going to sand and fix them and give it another coat. (rough spots on airbox are welds, barely visable when assembled.)
