Got this bike off a curb here in town. Destined for the scrap yard I intervened.
Most the bike was there but needed some TLC.
Products I use;
Rust Remover - Workshop Hero Rust Bath (http://www.workshophero.com/de-rust-motorcycles.aspx)
Paint Stripper - Rustoleum Aircraft Remover (http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=385)
LED Lights - Ledlight.com
First I pulled the wheels and cleaned them up and put on a nice Pair of Michelin Gazelle Moped Tires ($50 for the pair)
Next I sorted out the wiring an installed a new left bar control.
Now starts the Fab work.
Made a seat pan for a simple brat seat and chopped the rear fender.
Also built a small electronics pocket onto the stock airbox. Thus eliminating the need for side covers and still hiding electrical components.
Also welded on an old muffler I had lying around.
