I bought a Cb 125 that had not been used in 20 years, and with a very small amount of miles on it a couple of months ago.
I went to my local Honda store to order a part for it (the only parts that really need attention) it was a condenser (which might not NEED to be replaced) and an ignition coil. After two months of looking for one, they have given up because these parts are no longer in production.
My question is, does the ignition coil specifically have to be for a '75 Honda CB125? Couldn't I use and '81 Honda Cb125, or a '75 Honda (something else)?
Or could anyone direct me to a place where I could find any of these useful coils, or explain to me (in newby terms) how these things work?
I would very much appreciate it.
