How far did you go on that puppy? Just clean and shined it or did you get into the engine?

Purdy. That's one thing that I'd like in my garage one day. I've always wanted a wankel, car or bike.

This bike came as a rolling frame with the rotor block /gearbox installed plus 5 big boxes of parts all wrapped in newspaper unmarked and about 20 bags of screws and bolts unlabeled in other words a huge jigsaw with the service manual for reference

Nice Job!
They had one in the swap meet area at Vintage Fest last weekend. I don't remember what they were asking for it, but I remember saying "Holy Crap" when I saw it.

Just out of curiosity what are the scoops on the exhaust for, or are they just a style element?

worst design concepts with the dash and tail light being cylinders... but in saying that I love these bikes and would kill to ride one someday. I knew a guy back home who had one and he made the mistake of fitting an aftermarket exhaust, burnt himself after about 20 minutes of riding, so yeah they get pretty hot..

I love the dash and tail lights! It kept the lines of the engine throughout the entire bike, and was totally different than any other bike, which was the whole idea. Now it looks even better. I do remember seeing one back in the day and everyone commented on how hot it seemed to get. great looking bike- well done!

Major kudos to you for keeping one alive.

Those suckers are so odd and rare that very few of them still run.

Nicely done!
