Hi guys, long time lurker here. I've been restoring a CB750 for the past year, and now it is almost at completion. After seeing all of the beautiful bikes on here, I wanted to share my progress as well. Hope you all enjoy!
It all started on July 2015. It was a hot summer day, and I had been out late the night before at a friends wedding. The previous week I found a decent CB750 in Calgary, Alberta, a city 3 hours south of my hometown of Edmonton. My friend also found a bike he wanted in Calgary, so we both hopped into a rented truck and headed south to collect our bikes.
When we arrived, the CB looked in worse shape than in the picture. The original pipes were gone, the tank was in horrible shape, and the overall condition of everything was about 6/10. Despite being initially disappointed, I got the price down with the previous owner, shook his hand, gave him the cash and loaded up the bike.
This is how she looked when we first picked it up.
