What finish was used on the engine aluminum on both bikes? Aluminum colored powder coat? Or bead blast and clear coat? I'm debating on what to do with my engine and those engines look sweet.
They both look fantastic and have a very unique look/personality of their own. I do really like the seat cowling on the 2nd bike. Very nice job on that piece. That's something I would definitely buy if it were in production. Great job.
The seat / cowling is something I have come up with. Made the pan and cover and mated to an existing plastic part. I'm putting another one on my H1 right now. I like the look a lot too. I have been toying with making some for sale. What do you think would be a fair price? would you be interested in ordering one?

I would absolutely be interested in one. In regards to a price...that's a tough one. I guess you have to determine the amount of time it takes as well as the price of materials and obviously a profit. Without knowing those details, I don't think it would be fair of me to throw a price out there. I'm probably not the only one that would be interested in one though.
I'll back him up on his price on chrome . Due to some bullshit EPA regulations with the waste from chroming it's gotten to be stupid expensive . I looked into getting a fuel take to get chromed which would of costed 750$ to get done . A 4 1/2 gallon gas tank for a new Bonneville . Not including shipping . And then finding a chromer that will do bike parts ? Stuff's gotten expensive guys .
