Whilst I was just kidding at first, (I don't actually own any goats)

The more I think about it, the more it sounds like a good idea

You would not believe how many animals probably get put down and are wasted.

I have a building rented to this large company, and every time, at the end of a growth cycle (3 months) I have to put down 2-3 300lbs pigs because of stupid shit. If it has a sore leg and can't put weight on it, tail has been bitten etc, it's stupid stupid stupid stupid waste of deliciousness

Considering it costs them probably 200$ to get each one to that point, they are retarded.

Yeah that does sound like an awful waste - what's the deal though, can they still sell them for meat?

when i can fit them in my freezer i just call my buddy who butchers them up and i eat them.
most of the time it's because there is a 21 day withdrawal period for the medication (penicillin and an anti- inflammatory) and because they cant keep them in the building after all the others go, i have to put them down. It really is the thing i hate the most, and i always walk away from the barn angry afterwards.

as long as i wait out the remainder of the 21 days, they are good though.
it sucks more because these are some specialty pigs or something and the meat all gets exported to japan.
i can confirm however that it is god damn delicious.

There's should be some way you can donate it?

Cook up some Tourtière you folks are famous for and head on down to the shelter... :)

FYI - I will always be able to easily search for this thread using the term "horse cock".
