1978 CB750k for sale / trade for CB350 twin engine

Been Around the Block
I have a 78 CB750k that I'm putting up for sale or trade. I am getting rid of the bike because I was in an accident on it in October. I don't have the time or money to fix it right now since I am already working on my CB350 and I'm in school. Before the accident the bike ran like new and gave me no issues at all. There was not too much damage from the wreck. No frame damage, and all of the electronics still work. The bike will even still try to start, but can't because it is missing the timing set up now. When I bought the bike it had lower bars on it and a 4-1 exhaust system on it as shown in the pictures.

I'm not exactly how much I want for the bike, so just make an offer if you are interested. Also, if possible I would really like to trade for a running engine I can throw on my 72 CB350 twin.

The first two pictures are from May when I bought the bike, and the rest are all of the pictures of the damage from the accident. There was no damage to the left side of the bike.

Oh and I believe it has the original seat on it, it just looks goofy in some of the pictures because it has a cover on top of it from the previous owner.

I'm in north Texas near Dallas, but I'm more then willing to help get the bike where it needs to go. I have a truck and like to see new places around the country.

Got a block and frame,69 model but no carbs pipes etc pretty bare,I'm in Birmingham Al I'd love to see it run again, the kickstart shaft dis engaged when we were teenagers and because of electrical issues we never had the starter working ,it's been parted out over the last 25yrs it's been floating around in my family, but the actual motor works it's just been pirated beyond a chance unless u are a restorer cafe like dime city r something,

I wanted to bump this post up a bit, because I still have this cb750 that I am willing to trade for a running cb350 engine. In a couple weeks I will be driving up to Boston from Dallas and if anyone who happens to be on the way, or even a little out of the way, wants this bike and has an engine or money I am more then happy to tow it up with me.

I need that bike! I have a 78 with no title and missing some stuff that I see on yours- what you want for the bike cash? My friend has two very good cb350 engines and one is a first year coveted "type 1" engine. Lets work this out. I am in Mooresville NC

Oh man I wish you had offered that yesterday! I found and engine yesterday that I have already paid for. I used to love in Mooresville as well! I would drag the 750 up for you anyways if I was going all the way over to Ohio to pick up the engine. Sorry I hadn't posted o here yet. I haven't gotten a chance until today to get on the Internet

man what a bummer :(
seemed almost to good to be true.....bummmmmmmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

if it somehow falls through please let me know

I found a 350 engine. I still have the 750, but I'm driving pretty far out of the way of Mooresville

Charleston WV is the middle point between Ohio and Mooresville- Pricewise well , I was thinking originally like the price of a cb350 engine - selling on ebay they are about 300-350$ for complete good compression numbers engine - Plus I'd certainly buy dinner/lunch I got some more things to sweeten the punch if need be - whatcha think. I also have a $ 50,000 laser engraver and can make for you any kind of custom tank badges, etc. Also have a vinyl plotter so can make any kind of custom decals you can dream up. Also have a Screenprinting Shop in Mooresville and could cook up anykind of custom t-shirts or embroidered gear.... just food for thought.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I am actually not going to be able to meet up with you to bring my 750. I am going up to Boston for work for the summer and I got a call from them this week saying I need to come in earlier, so I am pretty crunched for time. I may be able to work something out with you at the end of the summer/beginning of fall if you are still interested then. I am really sorry about that.

No prob man- totally undertand-

would you be able to hook a brother up with your side covers?

btw g-luck with the new job.
