1978 Honda CB 400

Hey everyone !
new to the site, just wanted to do a little show and tell.

recently picked this baby up on monday, i haven't had a chance to give the whole bike a once over.
only has 10,000 original on the engine. only thing is, it wont idle i need to tweak the carbs. the previous owner bought them online and just installed them. ill find out make and model maybe one of you fine dothetoners have some insight. ill keep you posted!

post some better pictures of the carbies.. I cant see them too good. Nice ride! Deffeniatly one of the better 400t's around.

so i picked the bike up today, the carbs are Mikuni . super cold out today so all i did was transport it from a-b.
took a quick close up before i said good night to her.

Nice version! I have the same model/year although in stock livery.

Those aren't the stock carbs, it came with CV Kiehins. Those are easier to tune but will need to be setup for the bike. I am of no help there, sorry, but there are a lot of folks here who will be able to help you get the correct jetting etc. They should run the bike with pods better and be easier to get right than the stock CV's
